Shockwave Therapy

This exciting new technology is a non-invasive and FDA approved treatment for pain, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, bone spurs, and more. 

EPAT ( Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology) delivers sound pulses to the soft tissue with creates a physiological response for tissue regeneration. Almost 86% of patients have claimed that they felt significant reduction in pain following treatment.

Patients are advised to not take anti-inflammatory drugs 2 weeks prior the treatment and 2 weeks after. In addition, cold compresses should be avoided during the treatment period.

Nail and Callus Care

We have more than 30 years of experience treating ingrown nails. We offer both routine nail trims, partial avulsion, and permanent procedures such as a partial matricectomy. Dr. Schmugler takes ample time to ensure the process is as smooth and painless as possible for patients.

We also specialize in treatment of fungal nail infections and offer a variety of treatment options including topical treatments and laser treatment in conjunction with regular nail trimming. We are proud to offer a state-of-the–art laser treatment for fungal nail infections using the Q-Clear™ Laser System which is approved by the FDA for the treatment of Onychomycosis. The procedure is typically pain free and is conveniently preformed in our office.

In addition, we also offer routine nail and callus care for patients of all ages.

Custom Orthotics

We are proud to offer top-of-the-line custom orthotics for pain relief of common problems such as: Plantar Fasciitis, Lateral Instability, Pes Planus, Pes Cavus, Metatarsalgia, Bunions, Hallux Limitus, Arthritis and Tendonitis. Custom orthotics are also an effective tool to prevent many foot problems.

Our orthotics are tailored using the latest 3D scanning technology, which provides a precise image to ensure that each pair is uniquely crafted to fit your feet.
